Kensho Ono and Saori Hayami in the new Donbei animation commercial.

Nissin’s “Donbei” animation CM “Donbei Season 2: Are your ears there? Arc” began airing today, 31 October. Kensho Ono plays the role of a young man with glasses who eats Donbei and the part of Don Gitsune is played by Saori Hayami.

Don Gitsune and the young man with glasses are familiar faces from the Donbei TV commercial series. The motif of this commercial is based on the Donghitsune Jealousy Arc, which was popular among the Donghitsune commercial series aired in the past. Moritaishi of Radiation House designed the characters.

The period setting of the ‘Are your ears there? Arc is set in the Taisho era. The commercial is available in 30-second and 15-second versions on the Nissin Foods Group’s official YouTube channel.
