The TV anime ‘HUNTER x HUNTER’ Masterpiece Selection will be distributed on the YouTube Jump Channel. The first episode will be broadcast at 22:00 on 18 October.
The original manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump has been on hiatus since November 2018, but it was announced that the series will resume in the 24 October issue of the magazine. The timing of distribution of the masterpiece was timed to coincide with this.
The version to be distributed this time is the Madhouse-produced version that began airing in 2011. Sixteen of the 148 episodes of the series will be distributed every other Tuesday at 22:00 and 24:00 for two weeks only. This is a rare opportunity to watch popular episodes such as the Hunter Test Arc and the Chimera-Ant Arc for free, and the episode (episode 131) in which Gon-san, a.k.a. Gon-san, who is also an internet sensation, descends will also be distributed.
