A trailer and a new cut of the heroine Suzume from “Suzume no tojimari,” a theatrical animation film written, directed, and scripted by Makoto Shinkai, has been released.
The trailer depicts in more detail the four keywords of the film, “traveling youth,” “white cat,” “small chair,” and “door key,” which were the topic of discussion in the special trailer released in April.
The film ends with the voice of Suzume, played by Noka Harana, which is being shown for the first time, saying, “At the end of the place where I wandered, there was the sky, as if all the time had melted together”.
Hara, who voiced Suzume for the first time, said, “I was very nervous. I had to pay a lot of attention to every single note, and there was a lot I didn’t understand. When I saw the finished film and thought that I was going to voice this girl, I was so nervous that I couldn’t move my body properly.
However, Director Shinkai was always very complimentary and gave me specific instructions that were easy to understand, so I gained a little confidence through this preview recording! I gained a little confidence through this preview recording.
