Yoshifumi Tozuka’s manga “Undead Unluck” will be adapted into an anime in 2023.
This battle manga is serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump” and won first place in the comics category of the “Next Comic Award 2020”. The battles between “deniers,” or those with different abilities, and the epic storyline, with its numerous foreshadowing lines that lead to a deeper investigation, and its furious plot development, have gained popularity.
The first teaser visual was released to coincide with the decision to adapt the manga into an anime. The graphic depicts Andy, a man with an “immortal” body, and Fuko Izumo, a girl who brings “bad luck” to those she touches.
The animation is produced by David production.
