The box-office revenue of “ONE PIECE FILM RED,” a movie based on Eiichiro Oda’s novel, exceeded 10 billion yen on August 25, the 20th day of the film’s run. In conjunction with this, a new illustration by Eiichiro Oda was released.
“ONE PIECE FILM RED” opened in theaters on August 6 and got off to a good start, drawing 1.57 million people and grossing over 2.25 billion yen on August 6 and 7. The 10 billion yen surpassed in the 20th day of its release is the fastest record for a film released in 2022.
In commemoration of the 10 billion yen mark, a “big hit thank-you” stage greeting will be held on September 1. Mayumi Tanaka (Luffy), Kaori Nazuka (Uta), and director Goro Taniguchi will appear on stage. Other details will be announced later. The third admission present, “ONE PIECE” Comics Volume 4/4 “UTA”, will be distributed to all the audiences from tomorrow, the 27th, in a limited edition of 3 million copies nationwide.
