Three films were selected for screening in the “25th Anniversary Pokémon Film Festival” by fan vote.

The 25th Anniversary Pokémon Movie Festival”, a theater screening project commemorating the 25th anniversary of the broadcast of the animated television series “Pokémon”, has selected three films for screening as a result of over 200,000 fan votes: “Pokémon the Movie: Latias and Latios, Guardians of the City of Water” (2002), “Pokémon: The Movie Monster Advance Generation The Movie: Jirachi (2003) and “Pokémon the Movie: Diamond Pearl Dialga VS Palkia VS Darkrai (2007)”.

An announcement video was shown and it was also announced that a limited number of three-piece admission gift sets will be distributed.

The TV animation “Pokemon” started in 1997. The adventures of Satoshi and Pikachu are still continuing 25 years later. To commemorate their adventures, a Pokémon movie theater project was held. Pokémon the Movie: Latias and Latios, the Guardians of the City of Water” and the short film “Pika Pika Starry Sky Camp” will be screened from August 11 to 18, “Pokémon the Movie: Advanced Generation Jirachi” and the short film “Odoru Pokémon Secret Base” from August 19 to 25, and “Pokémon the Movie: Diamond Pearl Dialga vs. Palkia vs. Darkrai” from August 26 to September 1. In addition, the above three films will be screened on a daily basis from September 2 to 8.

The “25th Anniversary Pokémon Movie Festival” will be held from August 11 to September 8 at 307 theaters nationwide.
