Ado: Challenge of “ONE PIECE FILM RED”

Uta’s singing voice has been described as “otherworldly,” and he is a key character in the story.

“One Piece” is a very popular work that needs no explanation. It was a dream come true to have the very popular Mr. Ado participate in this collaboration, but Mr. Ado said he was just surprised when he was chosen to sing in the show.

　”It has been serialized since before I was born, and I am five years older than him. Ever since I was a little girl, I would turn on the TV, and “One Piece” would be on. I thought that I, as a singer, would never be involved in it. …… No way! I was so surprised. When I first heard that there was a story about “ONE PIECE” ……, I thought, “Which clothing collaboration is it?　Oh, you are a pirate! I was so surprised that I said something ridiculous. Uta is a diva, so I was! I was surprised.”

　Uta is a diva that the whole world is crazy about. The original creator, Mr. Oda, designed Uta.

　”When I saw the visual for the first time, I was like, “She’s so cute! I was so impressed. She’s a cheerful character with a mischievous personality, and I wondered if my voice would fit with this visual. I thought. I thought she was the complete opposite of me except for her singing, but when I found out about her background and how she sings, I felt she was no different from us. They are very human in a good way. Diva has a glorious image. Uta is a shining human being and has a core, but she also expresses sadness and anger, and her humanistic side may be a bit similar to ours.”

　The visual of Ms. Ado drawn by Mr. Oda has also become a topic of conversation.

“I am surprised,” she said. Wow! Wow! I can’t express how moved I was. The poses are so powerful and cool that I couldn’t stop looking at them. I also really like the illustrations of Luffy, Uta, and Ado. I was very impressed. I’ve been looking at it for a long time.

Ado is a very active artist, but his challenges continue.

“I feel that it would be interesting to try my hand at acting,” she said. This new challenge may change the way I express myself in singing. It is a dream that will eventually come true, though, as I would like to focus more on singing now. As a singer, I would like to be involved in music in ways other than writing lyrics or singing.”
