He was found floating off the coast of Nago City, Okinawa Prefecture, wearing snorkeling equipment. He was apparently attacked by a shark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u3000The &#8220;Yu-Gi-Oh!&#8221; anime was broadcast in the U.S., and the trading card game that appeared in the story became so popular that it was recognized by the Guinness Book of Records for the number of cards sold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u3000In response to the news of Takahashi&#8217;s death, Eric Stewart, the voice actor who dubbed the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime in English, took to Twitter to express his gratitude, saying, &#8220;&#8216;Sensai&#8217; shaped my career as a voice actor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">This is incredibly sad news. So shocking. An amazingly talented man. Sensei created a role that would help define my voice acting career. He once told me my version of Seto Kaiba was his favorite. RIP.
