Special footage from the movie &#8216;Garfield the Cat&#8217; has been released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Garfield, who celebrated his 45th anniversary in 2023, is the most widely published comic strip in the world. He has previously been adapted into live-action movies and animated series, with numerous celebrities being fans of Garfield merchandise. Now, this popular character is returning in a new film set to arrive in Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"960\" height=\"357\" src=\"https:\/\/sekaiend.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/55489-80-bc240e81248cb599feaa5412ffaa727c-960x357-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1061\" style=\"width:812px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sekaiend.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/55489-80-bc240e81248cb599feaa5412ffaa727c-960x357-1.jpg 960w, https:\/\/sekaiend.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/55489-80-bc240e81248cb599feaa5412ffaa727c-960x357-1-300x112.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sekaiend.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/55489-80-bc240e81248cb599feaa5412ffaa727c-960x357-1-768x286.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, August 8th, is &#8220;World Cat Day,&#8221; established in 2002 by the International Fund for Animal Welfare as a day to deepen the friendship between humans and cats and pledge to provide cats with safe lives. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On this day, a special video has been released featuring Hollywood star Chris Pratt, who voices Garfield in the film, engaging in &#8220;cat creation&#8221; as part of his role preparation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the video, Chris is seen with a serious expression, pondering questions like &#8220;What is a cat?&#8221; &#8220;What defines a cat?&#8221; and &#8220;Why cats?&#8221; As the camera pulls back, Chris is revealed sitting on a sofa, surrounded by numerous cats! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He then explains that playing the globally recognized and beloved Garfield, with a 92% awareness rate, requires physical agility, curiosity, and playfulness. The video shows him grooming himself on a bed and drinking water without using his hands, demonstrating his thorough &#8220;cat creation&#8221; efforts.
